To be fair, I’m only 49 and 11 months (exactly today) but why let that get in the way of a good headline?!

Hello friends. Helllooooooo friends!

Today is the day! The exact day (March 21, 2021) a new chapter of our life begins.

Yes, my love and I have hit the road and we’re officially coming to you from no fixed address.

This dream made reality has been many, many years in the making.

And while I can consciously trace it back 10 years to a breast cancer diagnosis style wake up call…… I’m pretty sure the seed was planted well before.

Maybe it was after the 10 weeks in Thailand riding scooters and bumming it on beautiful beaches. I definitely recall wishing I could find a way to stay longer.

Or on the many trips to Bali spent lusting after the lifestyle of ‘those lucky nomads’.

Perhaps is was living in NY, when we did our level best to transplant to the Hamptons each summer.

Are you getting the drift? Wanderlust is our middle name!

Before we go any further, let me introduce you to my +1.

OK world - meet my gal Chilli Sparkles, 10 year old Cavoodle and all round bestie. And yes that means she’s 70 in dog years. But like me she doesn’t look or act her age, I promise!

Yes, I know, I know, being a nomad with a furry +1 makes things a little complicated. But hey, I can’t live without her AND she 100% insisted.

So here we find ourselves.

And what a great place we find ourselves!

We’ve started this adventure in relative comfort. 2.5 hours from Sydney. Inside the family owned holiday house. Water front & kinda remote. The wifi is good and the living is easy!

But this is just the warm up. There’s lots more adventure ahead and we want you with us from the beginning.

So are you coming? We sure hope so!

On our travels you can expect to hear about things like:

  • How being a nomad impacts my biz (Business Coaching), which I’m forecasting is going to be like totally positive

  • The good stuff, the bad stuff and the ugly, which let’s face is going to be the most interesting!

  • What it’s like to pack your entire life into a Mazda (hint - it was squashy)

  • If renting out the fixed abode on airbnb works out in our favour (yes please!)

  • Whether we stick to the plan of upping our health and fitness game on the road (?!)

  • Interesting people we meet along the way, will you perhaps be one of them?

  • Dating stories (this is a stretch since I haven’t gone on a date since 1977 and Chilli would never cheat on me)

  • How many times we go back to Sydney because #familylove

  • If we make it the whole year…..or indeed decide this adventure is a longer term type one

  • So many more things!

DN@FF are GO.
