Gate 30 Human Design
This Gate series synthesizes the wisdom of Human Design and the Gene Keys to support you in leveraging your energetic frequency in creating authentic and aligned marketing. In Human Design, Gate 30 is the gate of ‘desires’ and is also called the gate of feelings. It is the energy of dreaming and desiring new experiences in life. And being passionate about those dreams and desires. This gate sits in Solar Plexus, the emotional center in Human Design body graph. And that speaks to the intensity of emotions this energy can bring when at play.
In my Cosmic Content Codes, I call gate 30, “Inspiring Passion”. It is about following exactly what lights a fire inside of you. Aptly named ‘clinging fire’ in the traditional i-Ching, gate 30 has an inbuilt lesson about not letting the passion burn so bright it burns you out. It’s only when you are governed by passion AND faith, that you become a beacon of light and an inspirational force for others.
Gate 30 is the source of desire for all forms of human experiences. This includes passion for food, adventure, love, sensational experiences, emotional experiences even addictions. And you see, how this can lead to a spectrum of intense encounters in life and can tax our vital life force with massive burnout.
To truly harness the wisdom of this transit, we need to learn to map our emotions as we traverse the wave and gain Clarity. To catch emotions if and when they tilt toward extreme, so that we can avoid being consumed by them.
Because when we’re not consumed by those emotions, they turn into a powerful manifestation force and start working in our service rather than against us.
The purpose of all this is to learn to ride the emotional wave, make mistakes, evolve and through all this >> get crystal clear on what life means to you on a higher conscious level.
The shadow of gate 30, desire
“Desires come and they go. They're here to help us learn. The biggest problem with Desire is the mind. The mind can get hold of a Desire and blow it out of all proportion. The mind can also fan a Desire as a wind fans a flame, so we need to be especially vigilant as to the concerns of our mind and Desire.” – Richard Rudd
The fuel of this shadow is the constant hunger for experience. Even though desire is a pure impulse of nature, it tends to drive human beings mad and is thought to be the source of human suffering. But it is not your desire, but your reaction to it that creates suffering and eventually burnout.
Gift of this gate is “Lightness” which is about surrendering in a way that cannot be forced or faked. When we talk about lightness, we're actually describing going through the emotions and the suffering fully to realize that true strength comes from trust. Trust in the divine. Trust in your human-ness.
The higher your frequency rises, the more you surrender to the divine currents waiting to burn you to your rapture (siddhi). Truly, it’s not the desire itself, but rather your reaction to it which:
either lets it burn you
or transmutes it to fuel you
The shift from shadow to gift happens when you start to master the emotional intelligence tools to fully embrace, tame and harness your emotions. This is a continued process of gaining emotional discipline in order NOT to surrender to the emotions themselves, instead surrendering to the higher will.
WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A GATE 30 BRAND
If you have Gate 30 in your Personality Sun (or Mercury), you are a brand that inspires others with their Enthusiasm and passion for their dreams. You have a knowing that ‘realization’ of your dreams also requires detachment and trust. Trust that;
“what is for you will not miss you”
This is the kind of closure you’re seeking out of all of your experiences. And that becomes your super power.
Your brand story is one of creating your dream life with a belief that it serves the collective in the best possible way. It’s all about the fuel for the passionate fire within you. Even when it’s not your field of work or service, you radiate this passion in all your being and doing. And finally, when the timing is right, all this comes alive and pours out of you as a beautiful creation and a masterpiece of your life.
When it comes to positioning your offers, make sure you shine your passion bright. See what dreams stayed around for the longest, and what did not fizzle away from your heart even amid challenges and trials. What is it that you own and embody so enthusiastically that it inspires passion in others. That’s your brand essence. That’s the magnet that draws people toward you. Own it and celebrate the power of ‘dreaming and desiring’ in your business’s mission.
HOW THE BACKGROUND FREQUENCY OF GATE 30 IMPACTS THE POTENTIAL FOR YOUR MARKETING RESONANCE
No matter the niche you’re in, as a coach, healer, network, or digital marketer, your clients/customers are looking for help. They especially need help getting CLARITY because either they’re too caught up in their mental drama or totally dissociating with their feelings and emotions.
